About the Fanlisting
What's a fanlisting?A fanlisting is just what the name suggests: a list of fans of a particular subject. It can be about virtually anything: a celebrity, a movie, a TV show... In this case, Straight Edge is a fanlisting for the comic book character Beak. If you're a fan of Beak, you can join the fanlisting to show it. Do I need a website to join? Not at all! All that's required of you is your name or nickname, a valid email address, and the country you belong to. This is because part of the fun of a fanlisting is showing how many people from different countries like the subject in question. Why do you need my email address? This is primarily so that I, the webmistress, can contact you regarding changes made to the site. It would be convenient for me to get in touch with you if, for example, the site has moved to a different address, or if you've been approved for membership, or if I've added the changes you've made to your information. PHPFanbase, the fanlisting script I use, protects members from spam using JavaScript. Nevertheless, you still have the option of hiding your email address so that it isn't visible to anyone visiting the site. In that case, your address will only be known to me.
